Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of talk therapy that helps individuals manage problems by changing their thoughts and behaviors. CBT primarily focuses on current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors rather than delving deeply into past experiences. This therapy aims to help individuals identify and address specific problems and develop coping strategies, helps individuals recognize and challenge negative or unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs and encourages individuals to modify behaviors that are contributing to their problems.
